LeBron James Achieves Another Major Milestone in NBA History

LA Lakers superstar, LeBron James, continues to consolidate his NBA legacy after reaching another major milestone in a stellar career during the win over cross-town rivals LA Clippers on Sunday night.

LeBron and and Luka Doncic combined to lead the Lakers to a sixth-straight win in the NBA and take the season series 3-1 against the Clippers, moving up to second spot in the Western Conference.

The win made LeBron become only the fourth player in history to win 1,000 games in the regular season, just as he is primed to go third on that all-time list well before the season ends.

That’s because he is two wins away from passing San Antonio Spurs legend, Tim Duncan, who is third on that list with 1,001 career wins in the regular season.

LeBron can also go second on the list before the end of the 2024/25 regular season, if he features in 15 more wins for the Lakers, as Robert Parish is second on the list with 1,014 regular-season wins.

Kareem Abul-Jabbar leads the all-time list for most wins in the regular season with 1,074 wins. While LeBron turned 40 years old a month ago, there’s little doubt he will be active long enough to make that all-time record his own in the next NBA season.
