Manchester United’s Brazilian winger, Antony, is on the verge of leaving the club, as Spanish La Liga outfit Real Betis close in on a loan deal.

The 24-year-old, who joined the Red Devils for £82 million from Eredivisie side AFC Ajax Amsterdam in August 2022, has failed to live up to his price tag and is now set to leave the club on loan this month.

Antony’s lack of game-time and failure to impress new United boss Ruben Amorim has contributed to his expected departure.

It is reported that ‘final details of the agreement’ are being discussed between United and Betis, with Antony set to join the Spanish side on loan until June with NO option to buy clause included.

The Brazilian has given the green light on a move to Seville, while United will cover part of his wages.

Antony scored eight goals and added three assists in 44 appearances in his first season at United.

But in his second season, he scored three times and provided two assists in 38 matches and has only found the back of the net once in 13 appearances this term.
