Bournemouth forward, Justin Kluivert, has made history by scoring the first-ever Premier League hat-trick of penalties as the Cherries coasted to a 4-2 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers in a Premier League match at Molineux.
Kluivert opened the scoring with a penalty after just 15 minutes, before Wolves’ Jorgen Strand Larsen equalised for the home side.
Milos Kerkez quickly put Bournemouth back in the lead as the match witnessed three goals in the opening eight minutes.
Kluivert then added a second goal, and his third penalty sealed his hat-trick 16 minutes from time after Evanilson won a penalty for the visitors.
Strand Larsen pulled one back for Wolves for his brace, but it wasn’t enough to prevent Gary O’Neil’s side from slipping back into the relegation zone after defeat. Meanwhile, Bournemouth’s win strengthened their position in the mid-table.
