Ademola Lookman and Serie A side Atalanta are set to be without Gianlucca Scamacca for months after the Italian striker sustained an ACL injury during a friendly game on Sunday.
The 25-year-old former West Ham United man ruptured his ACL, meniscus and collateral ligaments against Parma and could be out for up to seven months as per Fabrizio Romano.
ANSA reports that the striker is scheduled to undergo surgery at a clinic in Rome then begin his rehab in view of starring in the second half of the 2024/25 season.
The 2023/24 Europa League winner made 44 appearances for the Italian side last season, scoring 19 goals and providing eight assists in what was a productive season for Scamacca.
