Management of Kano Pillars have decided to suspend the club’s Technical Adviser, Usman Abdallah, following a string of poor results for the former league champions.
Kano Pillars have lost eight out of 21 matches so far in the NPFL this season, finding themselves in 10th place with 29 points, 16 points off the top but four points off a top four place.
In a statement released by the club, Abdallah has also been suspended due to his behaviour towards fans of the club following a goalless draw at home to Bayelsa United on Sunday.
”The management took the decision following Abdallah’s inappropriate gesture towards supporters at the Sani Abacha Stadium,” the club stated. “He struggled to find consistency in recent matches, securing only one win in their last three outings.”
Coach Ahmed Yaro-Yaro will lead the team in the time of Abdallah’s suspension, with support from assistant coaches Abubakar Musa, Gambo Muhammad, Suleiman Shuaibu, and Ayuba Musa.
