AC Milan’s new forward on loan from Chelsea, Joao Felix, has made a good first impression for the Rossoneri after scoring in the club’s 3-1 win over AS Roma to reach the Coppa Italia semi-final on Wednesday night.

Felix completed a loan move to the San Siro from Stamford Bridge for the rest of the season on transfer deadline day, and came off the bench to score a dinked effort and seal the win with just under 20 minutes to go.

Another former Chelsea forward, Tammy Abraham, showed his worth by scoring twice in the first half to put Milan 2-0 up going into the half-time break.

Artem Dovbyk pulled one back for Roma seven minutes into the second half, tapping in from close range after Milan failed to deal with Angelino’s cross into the area.

Any hopes of a comeback for Roma were dashed as Felix got on the end of a pass from fellow debutant, Santiago Gimenez, to send Milan into the last four of the Cup.
