Golden State Warriors are now one win away from the Western Conference semi-finals after claiming a 109-106 win over Houston Rockets in Game 4 of their NBA first-round play-off series in San Francisco.

Jimmy Butler III, who missed Game 3 with a pelvic injury, returned to score 27 points while Steph Curry put up 17 points and Brandin Podziemski added 26 points to guide the Warriors to the win.

Jalen Green was quiet on the night just eight points for the Rockets, as Alperen Sengun starred instead with 31 points and 10 rebounds while Fred VanVleet scored eight threes to finish with 25 points.

The Rockets had the chance to take the lead in the final possession but a combination of Draymond Green’s defence and Jimmy Butler’s hustle ensured the Warriors got the crucial win in the keenly contested series.
