Jack Draper Stuns Carlos Alcaraz To Seal Indian Wells Final Berth

British number one Jack Draper progressed to the Final at Indian Wells following an stunning three-sets victory over four-time major champion Carlos Alcaraz on Saturday.

The 23-year-old put up a gutsy display to win 6-1, 0-6, 6-4 to knock out Alcaraz in their semi-final encounter in a dramatic win that saw Draper end Alcaraz’s 16-match winning streak at Indian Wells as he reached the biggest Final of his career.

Draper becomes the fifth British player to reach the Final of an ATP Masters 1000 event and is set to break into the top 10 for the first time in his career when the latest rankings are released. 

Meanwhile, in the second semi-final match-up of the day, Denmark’s Holger Rune reached the fourth Masters Final of his career thanks to a 7-5, 6-4 victory over Russian fifth seed Daniil Medvedev.
