LeBron James posted a 39-point night yet his efforts at the FedEx Forum, which also included seven boards and six assists, proved futile as the Los Angeles Lakers fell to a fourth defeat in their last five matches in the NBA.
Turns out the 39-year-old veteran was the only player to score 20 points or more for the Lakers, who were without Anthony Davis and Rui Hachimura. Bronny James made two free throws at the end of the match.
Meanwhile, Ja Morant was one of three Grizzlies to end the night on 20 points, in a match that saw both teams go end-to-end for most of the encounter which you can watch the highlights here.
