Simone Inzaghi will have to make do with a handful of key players when Inter Milan come up against Torino as the race for the Serie A title with Napoli drags into the final stretch of the season.
The trio of Lautaro Martinez, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Benjamin Pavard will miss the team’s Serie A fixture on Sunday, while Davide Frattesi remains a doubt for Nerazzurri.
Sky Sport Italia reporter Gianluca Di Marzio confirmed Lautaro Martinez, Mkhitaryan and Pavard won’t be available against the Granata, as the Nerazzurri turn their attention to domestic front just a few days after a memorable 4-3 win over Barcelona to reach the UEFA Champions League final.
Martinez had already made a quick recovery for Tuesday’s clash against Barcelona, featuring for 71 minutes at San Siro. Mkhitaryan played for 80 minutes, while Pavard was unavailable due to an ankle injury.
According to the report, Italy international Frattesi remains in doubt for tomorrow’s league match against the Granata. Inter sit second in the Serie A table, three points adrift of leaders Napoli with just three games remaining.
