Arsenal star, Oleksandr Zinchencko, has struggled for game time this season, slipping down the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium and having Gunners boss, Mikel Arteta, being open to the idea of letting him leave.
Reports have it that Zinchenko is a target for Serie A giants, Inter Milan, as the Nerazzurri believe his arrival could help boost their campaign, as they chase trophies on three fronts – the Serie A, Coppa Italia and the UEFA Champions League.
The Ukrainian international’s arrival from Manchester City ousted Kieran Tierney from the Arsenal first team, before the 28-year-old himself was sidelined by the arrivals of Jurrien Timber and then Riccardo Calafiori, both of whom can play across the backline.
Tierney will be leaving the club on a free transfer when his contract expires at the end of the season, and Zinchenko could well follow him out of the door, having started just two Premier League games this term.
The question mark over Zinchenko’s future comes as Arsenal reportedly monitor the future of AC Milan defender Theo Hernandez.
