Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo will be absent due to injury when the Red Devils go on the road to London where they will take on Tottenham Hotspur in a Premier League clash on Sunday evening.
The 19-year-old England midfielder picked up the injury in training and is expected to be ruled out of action for a couple of weeks.
Fellow midfielders, Manuel Ugarte and Toby Collyer, remain doubtful for Sunday’s trip to North London after the pair were injured in training earlier in the week as well.
Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim, who is facing a crisis in midfield, revealed on Friday that he had drafted in youth players for this week’s training session due to injury and illness problems within the first team.
The absence of Mainoo, Collyer and Ugarte could see the return of Casemiro and Christian Eriksen in midfield against the Lilywhites on Sunday.
