Mirra Andreeva has seen her 13-match winning streak end after suffering an early exit from the Miami Open following a three-set loss to Amanda Anisimova in Florida barely a week since lifting a first Masters title.

Andreeva defeated world number one, Aryna Sabalenka, to win at Indian Wells, but has fallen at the Round of 32 stage in Miami following a 7-6, 2-6, 6-3 loss to Anisimova.

Joining Andreeva out of the Miami Open is Australian Open champion, Madison Keys, who was beaten by Alexandra Eala of Philippines to reach the next round of the competition.

Eala produced a massive upset as she bundled out American fifth seed in straight sets of 6-4, 6-2 to reach the next round of the Miami Open.

Elsewhere, second seed Iga Swiatek overcame Belgian 27th seed Elise Mertens 7-6, 6-1 while Ukraine’s Elina Svitolina beat Czech 15th seed Karolina Muchova 6-2, 3-6, 6-2.

Britain’s Emma Raducanu is also through to the last 16 in Miami after her American opponent, McCartney Kessler, retired injured at the start of the second set of their match.
