Excitement is in the air for FC Sevilla fans after the La Liga club posted photos of Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho arriving in Spain ahead of a finalising a move.
Iheanacho has arrived in Seville and is expected to complete medicals on Wednesday before putting pen to a two-year deal on a free transfer after his contract at Leicester City expired at the end of June.
The Super Eagles forward will be joining fellow Nigerian Chidera Ejuke who signed for the Andalucian outfit over the past week, leading the club president to reveal the influx of Nigerian support to the club.
In a meeting with the NPFL, José MarÃa del Nido Carrasco stated “It is a new decisive step in our internationalisation process and will help our brand to continue to grow in Africa, in a country like Nigeria from which we are receiving a lot of support after the signing of Chidera Ejuke.”
