Jalen Green posted 38 points to set an NBA playoff franchise milestone and lead Houston Rockets to a 109-94 win over Golden State Warriors, who are sweating on the fitness of Jimmy Butler III after Game 2 of the series which is now tied at 1-1.

23-year-old Green made 8 threes at the Toyota Center on his way to becoming the youngest Rocket to score 35 or more in the playoffs, beating the previous record holder, Hakeem Olajuwon, who achieved the milestone nine times before turning 24 years old.

Alperen Sengun also starred for the Rockets with 17 points, 16 rebounds and seven assists in a dominant display in the paint, while Steph Curry managed 20 points and nine assists and Butler failed to finish the first quarter after falling awkwardly trying to beat Amen Thompson to a rebound.

Warriors offense took a hit with Butler off the floor, going 17-for-43 from three while he received treatment for a pelvic contusion and would undergo an MRI scan to assess the extent of the injury before it is determined if he will be available for Game 3 at Chase Center.
