Erling Haaland’s strike partner with the Norway national team, Alexander Sortloth, has agreed a deal to join La Liga giants Atletico Madrid.
The Real Sociedad forward will sign a long-term contract with Diego Simeone’s side within a week as per Fabrizio Romano.
Sorloth and his long-time agent, Morten Wivestad, have agreed on personal terms with Atletico. The 28-year-old will travel to Madrid this weekend to complete his medicals.
The former Crystal Palace forward enjoyed a fantastic season for Villarreal, scoring 26 goals in all competitions and providing 6 assists.
