Pep Guardiola is edging closer to getting two additions to his Manchester City squad this January going by the latest updates making the rounds.
An official bid has been submitted by City for Eintracht Frankfurt forward, Omar Marmoush, with transfer window expert, Fabrizio Romano reporting that City’s bid falls below the Bundesliga club’s valuation of the Egyptian star.
Despite that, there is still confidence a deal can be reached between both clubs at some point this week, leaving the forward available to play for at least one more match.
In addition to Marmoush, City will be welcoming 18-year-old Brazilian defender, Vitor Reis, this January rather than him staying at Brazilian Serie A side, Palmeiras, until July.
Reis has cost €35m plus sell-on clause included, and he will officially become part of the Premier League champions after passing his medical and the necessary paperwork is approved.
