Plymouth Argyle will need to pull off more giant-killing in the FA Cup while Manchester United will enjoy another reunion with Ruud Van Nistelrooy as revealed in the draws for the fourth round on Sunday.
Having caused the upset of the third round by seeing off Brentford, Plymouth Argyle have now been drawn to face Arne Slot’s Liverpool at home in a battle for a place in the fifth round.
Plymouth upset Brentford 1-0 on Saturday at the Gtech Community Stadium and will now welcome the Premier League leaders on their home turf, in what should serve as a revenue boost as well.
Meanwhile, Manchester United have been handed a clash against Leicester City, managed for former striker and interim manager, Ruud van Nistelrooy, in the fourth round.
The reigning Cup holders ousted Arsenal via penalties in the third round and will welcome the Foxes to Old Trafford in what should be an easy fixture on paper for Ruben Amorim’s side.
Elsewhere, Southampton will host Championship outfit, Burnley, while there are three other all-Premier League ties, with Everton facing Bournemouth, Aston Villa playing Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea travelling to take on Brighton and Hove Albion at the Amex.
