Head Coach of the France national team, Didier Deschamps, has revealed that Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe will return to Ls Bleus ahead of the coming international break in March.
Deschamps made the confirmation to French publication, L’Equipe, and said that the 26-year-old “will be part of the squad” that will resume hostilities in the UEFA Nations League.
Mbappe’s commitment to Les Blues was put under scrutiny after he missed out on both the October and November international breaks, with Deschamps fuelling speculations as he refused to answer questions on the captain’s absence.
Deschamps, who has announced he will step down from his role as France manager after the 2026 FIFA World Cup, will have Mbappe in the squad when they take on Croatia in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Nations League on March 20th and 23rd.
