French defender and former Everton star Djibril Sidibe has competed a move to Ligue 1 outfit, Toulouse football club as per GFFN.
The former Toffees fullback was a free agent after his contract with Greek side AEK Athens expired back in June.
Now the 32-year-old 2018 World Cup winner returns to France after spells at Troyes, Monaco and Lille OSC. He has played 225 Ligue 1 games in his career so far.
Sidibe has been given the number 19 shirt upon arrival at the Garonne club, replacing Mikkel Desler who has joined Major League Soccer’s Austin FC.
“Bring him, the world champion home. Djibril, welcome to Toulouse,” The French club announced via its official X page.
