Young striker Victory Beniangba has completed a move to Swiss Super League giants FC Servette on loan from Belgian club Genk.

The 21-year-old, who started his career at Nigeria Professional Football League side Bayelsa United, will hope to get playing time at Servette having failed to break into the team at Genk.

Beniangba, whose loan includes an option to make the move permanent, featured in 25 matches for Genk in the reserves last season, scoring 12 goals along the way for the club where he is contracted until 2027.

His quest to get in action will take a bit of time before filing out for the 17-time Super League champions, though, as the striker is currently recovering from a foot surgery and is expected back in action in mid-August.
