Winner of this summer’s FIFA Club World Cup, set to hold in the United States of America, will earn a total of $125 million, according to the world football governing body.

FIFA made the announcement on Wednesday, having reviewed and approved the prize distribution for all 32 participating teams at the event.

European clubs will receive between $12.7 million and $38 million, based on a classification system involving both sporting and commercial criteria, which FIFA has not fully disclosed.

South American clubs will receive $16 million, CONCACAF teams will pocket $9.5 million, same as clubs representing CAF and the AFC, while Oceania’s representative will receive $3.5 million.

Once the tournament kicks off, there will be a prize distribution based on the performances of all the participants.

A win in the group stages is $1.9 million, while a draw will be worth $970,000. Reaching the round of 16 will fetch $7.4 million, the quarter-finals $13 million, the semi-finals $21 million, the runner-up will get $29.8 million and the winners will claim $39.9 million.

In total, the competition will distribute $1 billion among the 32 participating teams ($475 million for performance-based rewards and $525 million for participation). An additional $250 million will be allocated to global club football as solidarity payments.

FIFA also announced that all revenue generated will be directed to club football, with no impact on the organisation’s reserves.

The 2025 Club World Cup will be held in the United States from June 15th to July 13th.
