Manchester City defender, Kyle Walker, is reportedly on the radar of Spanish La Liga heavyweights, Real Madrid, who intend signing the right-back on loan amid interest from Italian Super Cup holders, AC Milan.
City boss, Pep Guardiola, confirmed Walker’s desire to leave the club following the team’s 8-0 whitewash of Salford City in a third-round FA Cup encounter on Saturday, with the Catalan confirming Walker’s sights are set on playing “abroad.”
Cue in Madrid whose interest in signing the 34-year-old England international on loan this January is solely to provide cover for the injured Dani Carvajal.
Whether Manchester City would be open to letting Walker head out on loan or opt for an outright sale remains to be seen.
Walker, who has 18 months left on his current deal is also attracting interest from the Saudi Pro League, while AC Milan have also held talks to sign the England international.
