Novak Djokovic progressed into the quarter-finals of the Miami Open, after securing a straight sets victory over Italian Lorenzo Musetti.
The 24-time major champion, who is playing in his first Miami Open tournament since 2019, put in a dominant display to see off Musetti 6-2, 6-2 to reach the last-eight.
Djokovic will face Sebastian Korda next, after the American edged Frenchman Gael Monfils 6-4, 2-6, 6-4, while Argentina’s Francisco Cerundolo is also through after beating Norway’s Casper Ruud 6-4, 6-2.
In the women’s event of the competition, Italian sixth seed Jasmine Paolini defeated Magda Linette of Poland 6-3, 6-2 to reach the semi-finals.
