Eddie Nketiah scored twice while Ben Chilwell got his first for Crystal Palace as the newly crowned FA Cup champions rallied from a goal down to overcome Wolverhampton Wanderers in a six-goal Premier League thriller at Selhurst Park on Tuesday night.

Three days after stunning Manchester City to lift a first major silverware in 119 years, Palace welcomed Wolves to South London still in celebratory mood – a script the visitors clearly did not get as Emmanuel Agbadou put Wolves ahead midway through the first half.

But a quick brace by Nketiah turned the game around for Palace to have Selhurst Park rocking by the 32nd minute as Oliver Glasner went into the breaking with the lead, which Chilwell extended five minutes into the second half with a heavily deflected free-kick.

Jorgen Strand Larsen pulled one back for Wolves just past the hour mark with a header to set up a tense finale. FA Cup hero, Eberechi Eze, came off the bench to settle the affair with the fourth goal for the Eagles late on.

The result puts Crystal Palace in 12th on the table with 52 points, making it the first time the Eagles have earned 50 or more points in 33 years. Wolves, on their part, have now lost three successive league games and remain 14th with 41 points.
