Football icon Cristiano Ronaldo has been awarded a Guinness World Record plaque for getting the most match-wins in men’s international football.
Ronaldo’s recognition comes following Portugal’s 5-1 victory over Poland in November 2024, during which the Al-Nassr captain secured his 132nd match-win with his national team.
The Al Nassr star surpassed his former Real Madrid teammate Sergio Ramos to set the record for the most victories in international football history.

Ronaldo was handed a plaque commemorating the Guinness World Record ahead of Sunday’s UEFA Nations League quarter-final second-leg fixture against Denmark at the Estadio Jose Alvalade in Lisbon.
The former Real Madrid and Juventus star missed a first-half penalty but still scored as the Selecao qualified for the semi-finals of the competition, where they will take on Germany.
