Son of Portugal legend Cristiano Ronaldo has been handed a call-up to the national u-15 squad for a youth tournament later this month.
Cristiano Jr, who currently plays for the Al-Nassr academy, will be part of the cadet Selecao side that will play in Croatia between 13-18 May, with Portugal scheduled to face Japan, Greece and England.
His father confirmed Cristiano Jr’s selection on social media on Wednesday morning. The 14-year-old has previously played for the youth set-ups in Juventus and Manchester United. Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. qualifies to play for the USA and Spain, alongside his native Portugal.
