American tennis star, Coco Gauff, claimed her second title of the season following a straight sets win over over Karolina Muchova in the China Open final.
The 20-year-old wasted no time to get going in the final and took the opening set in just 31 minutes. Gauff dropped only five points on her first serve, broke Muchova five times, and hit 24 winners to see out the encounter.
The title makes Gauff the youngest champion at the event since 2014, and the first American to claim the crown in Beijing since Serena Williams did so in 2013. She also moves up to number five on the WTA world rankings, going past Jessica Pegula as a result.
