Cole Palmer has starred for Chelsea as the Blues perform above expectations and head into the busy festive schedule in touching distance of top spot in the Premier League and through to the next phase of the Conference League.
Last time out, Chelsea had to settle for a goalless draw at Everton, bringing an end to a run of five straight wins in the Premier League for Enzo Maresca’s side.
The Blues will be out to get back to winning ways over the festive period, starting with the local derby against ninth-placed Fulham at Stamford Bridge on Boxing Day.
That tricky encounter against Marco Silva’s talented side will be followed by a trip to Portman Road four days later for a date with relegation threatened Ipswich Town.
After that is a trip across London to face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, followed by games at Stamford Bridge against Morecambe in the FA Cup and Bournemouth in the Premier League.
