Italian midfielder, Cesare Casadei, has officially joined Torino from Chelsea, marking his return to the Serie A after his stint in England and will be wearing the number 22 jersey at his new club.
The former Inter Milan youth player is back in the Italian top-flight after struggling for game time at Stamford Bridge, with Torino confirming his signing on Sunday.
“I’m returning to Italy after an incredible experience in England,” Casadei stated. “I’m thrilled with my choice to join Torino.”
Casadei added, ”The club’s history, its project, and its ambitions convinced me that this is the right place for me. I can’t wait to wear the granata jersey, step onto the field, and give my all for the fans. A new chapter begins, and I’m ready.”
22-year-old Casadei has joined Torino for £12.5 million, along with a 25 percent sell-on clause for the Blues.
