Atletico Madrid youngster Samu Omorodion is on the radar of Premier League side Chelsea with talks said to have been held between both clubs over his future according to Fabrizio Romano.
The 20-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Deportivo Alaves, is wanted by Enzo Maresca’s side in a permanent deal that could cost up to £40 million according to The Telegraph.
Omorodion could join Chelsea if the price is right with Atletico, as the Blues also continue to explore a move for Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen from Napoli.
The youngster made 34 appearances for Alaves last season and scored eight goals. He has also been a core part of Spain’s run to the semi-finals at the 2024 Olympic Games.
