Stamford Bridge witnessed a goal fest on Thursday night, with Enzo Fernandez providing three assists and Joao Felix and Christophe Nkunku each getting a brace as Chelsea put eight past Noah Yerevan in a UEFA Europa Conference League match.
The result is the biggest ever margin recorded in Conference League history, as Enzo Maresca’s side maintained their 100% record in the competition and go top of the standings after three games played.
Tosin Adarabioyo opened the scoring after 12 minutes with his first goal in Chelsea colours, while Marc Guiu also scored his first Chelsea goal barely over a minute later to put the home side two goals up.
Axel Disasi made it 3-0 in the 18th minute while Felix added a fourth in the 21st minute as it quickly became apparent that this was going to be a massacre by a rampaging Chelsea side.
Two goals in two minutes just before half-time from Mikhailo Mudryk and Felix saw the Blues take a 6-0 lead into half time, before Nkunku scored a second half brace to seal a historic night for the two-time European champions.
