The quarter-final matches of the UEFA Champions League has seen Arsenal, Inter Milan, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain qualify for the last four of Europe’s biggest club competition, with a number of players still in contention for the Golden Boot award.
Here’s how the goalscorers chart looks at the moment with two rounds left in the competition:
5) Jonathan David – 9 goals
The Lille LOSC star has impressed potential suitors once again by scoring nine goals in this season’s competition, with seven of those goals coming in the league phase and first knock-out round where the Ligue 1 side fell to Borussia Dortmund.
25-year-old David’s current deal is set to expire at the end of the season, and the Canada international is already being linked with Liverpool and Newcastle United in the Premier League, as well as Serie A giants, Inter Milan.
4) Robert Lewandowski – 11 goals
The Polish striker was unable to get a goal in the quarter-final second leg at Dortmund, but remains in strong contention to win this season’s Golden Boot race. His 11 goals in 12 games so far have helped the La Liga leaders reach the semi-finals, where they will face Inter Milan.
3) Harry Kane – 11 goals
Kane scored his 11th of the campaign in the second leg at Inter Milan to give Bayern hope of reaching the semi-final, only for the Nerazzurri to edge the contest and see his quest to win the scorers’ title and competition end.
2) Raphinha – 12 goals
The 28-year-old continues to enjoy an explosive season as he leads the list of players still competing for this year’s title with 12 goals in as many games played so far. He also leads the list of top assists providers with seven so far, with PSG’s Achraf Hakimi the closest to him still left in the competition with five assists.
1) Serhou Guirassy – 13 goals
Guirassy was single-handedly close to bringing Dortmund back from 4-0 down against Barcelona in the quarter-final second leg between both teams, scoring a hat-trick which shot him from fourth on the list to the top with 13 goals.
