21-year-old Alcaraz Carlos Alcaraz is through to the Final of the Monte Carlo Masters, following his straight sets victory over fellow compatriot Alejandro Davidovich Fokina in the semi-finals.
The world number three struck 21 winners on his way to a 7-6, 6-4 triumph over Fokina, who’s invited Alcaraz to his upcoming wedding, to reach his first Masters 1000 Final in thirteen months.
Alcaraz will take on Italy’s Lorenzo Musetti in Sunday’s showpiece event, who fought back from a set down to beat Australia’s Alex de Minaur 1-6, 6-4, 7-6 in the other semi-final match-up.
Musetti, who won Olympic bronze on the Roland Garros clay last year, will be looking to win the biggest title of his career against the much-fancied Alcaraz.
