Makers of popular game franchise, Call of Duty, have confirmed on Sunday the coming of Black Ops 7, with the plot set in 2035, more than 40 years after the events of Black Ops 6, at a time when the world is on the brink of chaos.
“Treyarch and Raven Software are bringing players the most mind-bending Black Ops ever,” the developers wrote in a statement. “Developed as the next evolution of Black Ops, this is the first-ever consecutive release within the series.”
According to the statement, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is scheduled for release later in 2025 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and on PC via Xbox PC, Battle.
“It delivers the full Call of Duty package for our players, and we can’t wait to show the community more of what the studio teams have been working on when we reveal later this summer.” said Matt Cox, the General Manager of Call of Duty.
