Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark and Seattle Storm forward Nneka Ogwumike have been named on Monday as starters for the 2025 All-Star Game scheduled to take place July 19 in Indianapolis.
Ogwumike will be making her 10th All-Star appearance and ties Tamika Catchings and Brittney Griner for the third-most All-Star selections in league history.
Clark and Ogwumike are joined Napheesa Collier of the Minnesota Lynx, with the WNBA revealing on Sunday that Clark and Collier were chosen by a fan vote as the two team captains for the All-Star Game.
Players and media joined fans in voting for the remaining eight starters, with former league MVPs A’ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces and Breanna Stewart of the New York Liberty also making the list.
Number one overall draft pick by the Dallas Wings, Paige Bueckers, was the only rookie named a starter, while Liberty guard Sabrina Ionescu, Atlanta Dream guard Allisha Gray, Fever forward/center Aliyah Boston and Phoenix Mercury forward Satou Sabally also feature on the list.
Chicago Sky star Angel Reese missed out on the starting list after placing fifth in the fan vote among frontcourt players but ranked 12th in both the media and player ballots, according to the league.
