Jobe Bellingham, the Sunderland midfielder and brother of Real Madrid star, Jude Bellingham, is on the radar of Bundesliga side, Borussia Dortmund, with the Germans confident of signing the teenage sensation.
19-yaer-old Bellingham was part of the Black Cats team that got a dramatic 2-1 win over Sheffield United to win the Championship Playoff final and gain promotion to the Premier League for the 2025-26 season.
But the youngster may find himself playing top-flight football outside England when next season starts, as Dortmund plot to sign him, five years after signing Jude from Birmingham City.
According to BBC Sport, the German club believe they are now in pole position to secure Bellingham’s signature although Dortmund are yet to open formal talks with Sunderland for Bellingham.
Bellingham could be in line to feature at the FIFA Club World Cup if Dortmund turn their interest into a deal before June 10.
