Brighton midfielder Pascal Groß has accepted a move to Bundesliga heavyweights, Borussia Dortmund, as the German club continues to bolster its squad to compete with champions Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich for the title this season.
The 33-year-old is expected to officially sign with Dortmund win the next day or two according to transfer news expert, Fabrizio Romano, in a deal which will see Brighton receive €7 million plus add-ons and bring a close to the summer saga.
Die Borussen have enjoyed a good summer transfer window so far, securing deals for Serhou Guirassy and Waldemar Anton – both from Bundesliga rivals, VfB Stuttgart.
Guirassy enjoyed a breakout season for VfB Stuttgart after scoring 28 goals to help the club finish second in the Bundesliga ahead of Bayern and with players such as Groß creating chances for him, the potential to achieve even more awaits.
