Manchester City’s first-choice goalkeeper Ederson has declared his desire to stay at the Etihad Stadium outfit this season after failed interest from Saudi Arabia.
The 2023/24 Premier League champions rejected a €30 million from Al Nassr and other approaches for the shot-stopper during this window and he has now totally dismissed departure rumours.
“I spoke to Pep, and it was crucial. I’m happy to stay, fully focused on winning more titles here,” the 30-year-old Brazil international said in an interview with Castelo Branco.
Ederson has won six Premier League titles and three golden gloves with Manchester City so far. His comments about his future will come as a welcome development for manager Pep Guardiola.
