England international Jude Bellingham has been rated as Real Madrid’s most valuable player, ahead of stars like Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior.
The English midfielder joined the Spanish La Liga giants from Borussia Dortmund last summer for a reported fee of €103 million, which, due to add-ons, could rise by 30% to approximately €133.9 million.
21-year-old Bellingham’s value has since increased after his stellar performance for Los Blancos last season in the Spanish top flight and the UEFA Champions League.
According to The Athletic, as per CIES, Bellingham’s transfer value is now €285.1m compared to Mbappe’s €250.7m, with Vini Jr. not far behind with a value around €240m.
This makes the former Borussia Dortmund star the most valuable player at Real Madrid, with the club only spending €650.8m since the 19/20 season.
In his debut season, Bellingham led Real Madrid to their 36th La Liga title, scoring 19 goals and registering six assists. He was named the best player in the league ahead of teammates Vinicius, Toni Kroos, and Federico Valverde.
The former Birmingham City midfielder did the same in the UCL as Los Merengues won the title for the 15th time after defeating his former club, Dortmund, in the final. He was named the young player of the competition having scored four goals and provided five more.
These performances last season increased his transfer value, and despite Mbappe joining the club this summer, he’s currently the most valuable player at Los Blancos.
