Bundesliga giants, Bayern Munich, have reportedly decided not to improve their contract offer to German midfielder, Joshua Kimmich.

The Bavarians had been locked in negotiations with the player’s camp over a contract extension but without any progress made.

Munich-based publication AZ now reports that it was decided at a supervisory board meeting earlier in the week not to make the 30 year-old an improved contract offer.

The Germany skipper has been told to decide as soon as possible whether or not he wants to accept the club’s final proposal. If Kimmich rejects Bayern’s latest offer, he could leave the club on a free transfer when his contract expires in the summer.

Kimmich, who joined Bayern in 2015, has made a total of 426 appearances, scoring 43 goals and providing 114 assists in that period.
