La Liga leaders, Barcelona, will be without attacking midfielder, Dani Olmo, for the next three weeks after picking up a right adductor injury in the match against Osasuna on Thursday night.
The Spanish international picked up the problem less than 30 minutes into Barca’s 3-0 victory over Osasuna on Thursday night, with Fermin Lopez coming in to replace him.
“Tests conducted this morning have confirmed that first-team player Dani Olmo has a right adductor injury. He is expected to be out for around three weeks,” Barcelona confirmed the extent of the damage in a statement.
The latest development means that Olmo will miss this weekend’s La Liga clash against Girona, the return leg of the Spanish Cup semi-final against Atletico Madrid and the UEFA Champions League quarter-final first-leg fixture against German Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund.
