Spanish La Liga outfit Atletico Madrid are reportedly interested in a move for Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi ahead of the summer transfer window.
The 28 year-old, despite having suffered a hamstring injury this season, is a regular mainstay on manager Ruud van Nistelrooy’s Matchday squads and featured for 85 minutes in the Foxes’ home defeat to Arsenal last weekend.
According to Caught Offside, Ndidi is a subject of interest for Atletico Madrid, who are still keen on the services of the Nigerian, despite failing to seal a deal in January for the player.
Asides Atleti’s interest, it is believed that another Spanish outfit Real Betis and French Ligue 1 side AS Monaco are also in the race to sign Ndidi over the summer.
