Portugal forward João Felix is the subject of a shock transfer as Aston Villa reportedly open talks with Chelsea over a possible move this month.
The 25-year-old has featured in 20 games for Chelsea this season – scoring seven goals. Four of those goals came in the UEFA Conference League, and his involvement has decreased in recent weeks.
Unai Emery’s side were linked with a move for Felix during last summer’s transfer window and according to RMC, the Villans and Chelsea have started discussions on a move which would be on a loan basis.
Along with Aston Villa, other clubs are also credited with interest but those sides aren’t named.
Chelsea paid Spanish La Liga outfit Atletico Madrid around €50m for Felix’s services last summer but the attacker could be on his way out even before completing a season as a permanent player with the Blues.
