Victory sees the three-time major champion – who is yet to drop a set at the tournament so far – reach the Miami Open Final for the first time.

Sabalenka has also now reached her fourth Final of the 2025 season, winning in Brisbane in January before losing to Madison Keys at the Australian Open, and then to Mirra Andreeva at Indian Wells.

She will face the winner of the second semi-final match-up between Filipino wildcard Alexandra Eala and American fourth seed Jessica Pegula in Saturday’s showpiece finale.
