Norway midfielder and Arsenal captain, Martin Odegaard and his partner, ballroom dancer wife, Helene Spilling, have welcomed a baby boy.
The boy was born just a day after Arsenal’s impressive 5-2 victory over West Ham at the London Stadium, a match in which Odegaard scored from the spot after Bukayo Saka let him take a penalty.
“01/12/2024 ❤️ We love you so much, our little baby boy 👶🏼❤️,” Spilling wrote on social media to reveal news of the newborn.
Next up for the new father is a trip across London to face Fulham in the Premier League, in a match that will serve as a mini-reunion as the Cottagers have former Arsenal stars, Alex Iwobi, Emile Smith-Rowe and Bernd Leno in their ranks.
Another Arsenal player, Reiss Nelson, is also at the Cottagers on loan from the Gunners, though, he is out injured and will miss the game.
