Manchester United loanee Antony was on target for Real Betis in the win over Fiorentina while Enzo Fernandez provided two goals while Nicolas Jackson scored two off the bench as Chelsea eased to victory at Djurgarden on Thursday night.

It took Enzo Maresca’s side just 12 minutes to break the deadlock at Djurgarden, with Fernandez sending a sumptuous pass over to Jadon Sancho, who was given time to gather his footing before finding the bottom corner.

Fernandez was on hand to provide a second assist two minutes before half-time, laying the ball off at the edge of the box for Noni Madueke to find the back of the net with a deflected shot.

Jackson was among a handful of substitutes brought on by Maresca at half-time, with the striker latching on to a defensive slip-up to make it 3-0 after 59 minutes, before pouncing on a loose ball five minutes later to score his second and Chelsea’s fourth.

Isak Alemayehu pulled one back for the home side six minutes later but it proved to be mere consolation as Chelsea saw off the rest of the game with ease and put a foot in the final ahead of next week’s return leg.

The second semi-final saw Real Betis edge Fiorentina 2-1 thanks to goals in each half by Abde Ezzalzouli and Antony, though Luca Ranieri’s strike after 72 minutes gives Fiorentina a lifeline to take into the return leg.
