A 17-0 run in the third quarter proved pivotal for Minnesota Timberwolves in the 117-110 win over Golden State Warriors, with Julius Randle leading with 31 points and Anthony Edwards posting 30 points to give Timberwolves a 3-1 lead in the Western Conference semi-final series.
Timberwolves were down 60-58 at half-time and were level at 68 points early in the third quarter before Edwards hit 11 of his night’s total during a 17-0 run to effectively seize control of the contest in San Francisco, with Donte DiVincenzo and Mike Conley also scoring threes in the run.
Jaden McDaniels also contributed 10 points and 13 rebounds for the sixth-seeded Timberwolves, who have now rallied from losing at home in Game 1 to taking back home-court advantage with three straight wins over the Warriors.
