Los Angeles Clippers were made to pay for letting slip a 19-point lead by Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves in a dramatic NBA clash on Monday night.
Edwards and Mike Conley got cooking towards the end of the second quarter as the Wolves clawed back from 19 points down to reduce the deficit to single-digit before taking the lead early in the third quarter.
The Clippers managed to keep in touch with their hosts thanks to Nicolas Batum’s buzzer-beating three-pointer and set up a thrilling fourth quarter which saw the visitors from LA take the lead early on.
