Anthony Edwards Blocks SGA as Timberwolves Pull Off 25-point Comeback Win Over OKC

Minnesota Timberwolves left the NBA stunned after coming from 25 points down against Oklahoma City Thunder to pull off a thrilling 131-128 win over the Western Conference leaders in one of Monday night’s matches.

A close match after the first quarter turned to a basketball clinic from OKC as they ripped Timberwolves apart to lead by 22 at the half and by 25 points during the third quarter.

But a huge effort in the fourth quarter saw Timberwolves outscore their hosts 41-19, with Jaden McDaniels and-1 tying scores at 121 to send the game to overtime.

Anthony Edwards then helped to secure the win after blocking Shai Gilgeous-Alexander with 14 seconds left in overtime and inflict an 11th loss this regular season for OKC.
